I really did make a twitter thread abt a piece of abandonware at 3am huh?

the program in question is VocalWriter for MacOS 9 & OSX 10. It's an early voice synthesizer & general midi software that's long ceased development.

I found out about it years ago when I used to be part of the Pop'n music fandom (not in the fandom anymore btw, don't ask me to come back), but never got it to work because the program's difficult to emulate & I don't have a compatible mac.

Checked on preservation status recently. There's a Keygen now, but not much else. (infact the OSX version's disappeared)
